Mrs. Faye Youngblood Flowers

Mrs. Faye Youngblood Flowers, age 88, of Thomaston, died Thursday, November 02, 2017, at Harborview Health Care. Funeral services for Mrs. Flowers will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017, at 4:00 PM at East Thomaston Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Smith officiating. Burial will follow in South View Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Flowers will receive friends at East Thomaston Baptist Church on Saturday from 2 until 4 PM. Mrs. Flowers was born in Valley, AL on September 29, 1929, a daughter of the late Will and Mary Emma Statham Youngblood. She was a retired bookkeeper for Thomaston Electric Company. Mrs. Flowers was a faithful member of the East Thomaston Baptist Church. Mrs. Flowers is survived by her son, Mark Flowers of Las Vegas, NV; her friend and caregiver, Sylvia Ellington of Thomaston; her sister-in-law, Frances Youngblood of Jonesboro; and several nieces and nephews.
