Mrs. Gladys Brooks Reeves

Mrs. Gladys Brooks Reeves, 87, of Thomaston, died Sunday, January 25th, 2015 at Upson Regional Medical Center. Funeral services for Mrs. Reeves will be held on Saturday, January 31st, 2015 at 2 pm in the Chapel of the Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home. Rev. David Dawson will officiate and burial will follow in South View Cemetery. Mrs. Reeves was born in Thomaston on November 29th, 1927, a daughter of the late Pinkston Brooks and Hattie Mae Kent Brooks. She was employed in the sewing room at the Bleachery Division of Thomaston Mills and retired with over 30 years of service. Mrs. Reeves was a charter member of Emory's Chapel Baptist Church. Mrs. Reeves loved her family. She is survived by her daughter, Debora (Stacey) Crummie of Lawrenceville; two sons, Danny (Kathleen) Reeves of Buffalo, NY, and Terrell (Marilyn) Reeves of Thomaston; a sister, Joyce Moulton of Thomaston; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The family of Mrs. Reeves will receive friends at Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home on Friday from 6 until 8 pm. The family of Mrs. Reeves would like to recognize and thank her niece and caregiver, Barbara Fowler, for the love and attention given to her. Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
