Mrs. Helen Downs Cromer

Mrs. Helen Downs Cromer, 82, of Thomaston, died Saturday, August 1, 2020, at Cypress Care Center in Wildwood, Florida. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Cromer will be held on Saturday, August 8, at 11:00 AM, in South View Cemetery with Rev. Don Voyles officiating. Mrs. Cromer was born in Thomaston on June 8, 1938, to the late George Walter Downs and Ruth Hazel Bridges Downs. She was a graduate of R. E. Lee Institute. Mrs. Cromer was retired from the William Carter Company where she worked in the payroll department. She was a member of the Hightower Memorial United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph N. Cromer. Mrs. Cromer is survived by many nieces and nephews.
