Mrs. Hope Nordloh Mitchell

Mrs. Hope Nordloh Mitchell, 78, of Thomaston, and formerly of Las Vegas, Nevada, died Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Mountainside Assisted Living in Warm Springs, GA. Memorial services will be held later in Nevada.

Mrs. Mitchell was born in Boulder, CO, on August 18, 1944, to the late Albert Nordloh and the late Verniece Coulson Nordloh. She was retired from Clark County Schools in Las Vegas where she was Director of Human Resources.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her husbands, Jackson Maddox and Merle Mitchell.

Survivors include her daughter, Terra (Brice) Ueckert of Thomaston; her son, Jason Maddox of Reno, NV; a sister, Bartis Andre of Henderson, NV; two grandchildren: Ethan (Hope) Ueckert and Logan Ueckert; and three great grandchildren: Addison, Viviian, and Rhialyn Ueckert. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
