Mrs. Jeanette Queen Menken

Mrs. Jeanette Queen Menken, age 87, of Yatesville, died Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Upson Regional Medical Center. No services are planned at this time.

Mrs. Menken was born November 6, 1935, in Miami, FL, to the late Roy Queen and the late Sybil Queen. She had previously worked as a cafeteria employee of the Dade County, FL, school system, and she later enjoyed making her own jewelry. Mrs. Menken was a member of the Yatesville United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Menken was preceded in death by two husbands: John Jozefyk and Ray Menken, and a son, Roy Jozefyk. She is survived by a son, Andrew (Lenora) Jozefyk of Yatesville, GA; two grandchildren: Beth (Daniel) McChargue and Samantha Jozefyk; and two great grandchildren: Ellieann McChargue and Everett Jozefyk.
