Mrs. Juanita Boswell Granger, 81, of Thomaston, died Friday, October 31, 2019 at Navicent Health, Macon Medical Center. Mrs. Granger was a life-long resident of Thomaston, born on May 26 1938. She was a daughter of the late General and Ruby Dawkins Cato. Mrs. Granger was a graduate of R. E. Lee Institute. She was formerly employed by the William Carter Company and had also worked in the Bleachery Division of Thomaston Mills and Cato Paint and Supply. Mrs. Ganger is survived by her daughter, Wanda (James) Hall of Warner Robins; three sons, Mitchell Day of Thomaston, Stacy (Nancy) Day of Willis, TX, and Steve (Mandy) Granger of Cochran; a brother, Richard (Mary Jo) Boswell of Zebulon, 22 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Terry Granger. Funeral services for Mrs. Granger will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at 2:00 PM, in the Chapel of the Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Burial will follow in South View Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Granger will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour. Fletcher-Day Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
