Mrs. Julia Ann "Julie" Stallings

Mrs. Julia Ann "Julie" Stallings, 84, of Culloden, GA, died Monday, May 30, 2022, at Monroe County Hospital. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Stallings will held on Thursday, June 2, at 11:00 AM, in the Culloden City Cemetery with Mr. Troy Chaney officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery immediately following the service. Mrs. Stallings was born August 2, 1937, in Lake Wales, FL, to the late Albert M. Shrigley, Sr., and Mary Elizabeth Rutherford Shrigley. She was a 1955 graduate of Stuart High School in Martin County, FL, and she was previously employed as a secretary for Pierson Milling Company. Mrs. Stallings was a city council member for Culloden, serving from 1990 until 2013. Mrs. Stallings was an avid hunter who loved farm life and animals. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Charles Stallings, and a brother, Robert "Bob" Shrigley. Mrs. Stallings is survived by her son, Michael Rhodes of Sacramento, CA, her brother, Albert M. "Bo" Shrigley, Jr., and two cousins: Anne B. Hodges and Julia Kuni.
