Mrs. Kathy J. Pender Cummings

Mrs. Kathy J. Pender Cummings, age 59, of Woodland, GA, died Saturday evening, December 23, 2017, at Emory University Midtown Hospital, Atlanta, GA. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Cummings will be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2017, at 11:00 AM, at the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Zebulon, GA. Rev. Tim South will officiate. Mrs. Cummings was born in California on June 6, 1958. She was a production employee of 1888 Mills. Mrs Cummings enjoyed shopping and gardening, and she was an avid homemaker who loved and enjoyed being with her family. Mrs. Cummings is survived by her husband, Arnold 'Kip' Cummings, Jr. of Woodland, GA; 3 daughters: Hollie (Jeff) Rogers of Thomaston, GA; Amanda (Michael) Baucom of Greenville, GA; and Melissa Cummings (Kyle Berry) of Thomaston, GA; her mother, Mary Pender of Biloxi, MS; 3 brothers: Scott Pender of Biloxi, MS; Robert (Candy) Pender of Pike County, GA; and Rick Pender of FL; 5 grandchildren: Taylor Rogers, Weston Rogers, Jayden Cummings, Rylan Berry, and Lemon Jean Berry, all of Thomaston, GA. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Joseph Flint Reese. Fletcher-Day Funeral Home of Thomaston, GA, is in charge of all arrangements.
