Mrs. Kemper Nell Starley Boggs

Mrs. Kemper Nell Starley Boggs, age 97, of Thomaston, died Thursday, August 24, at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. Boggs will be held Sunday, August 27, at 3:00 PM, in the chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Rev. Jason Weems will officiate, and interment will follow in South View Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Sunday from 2:00 until the funeral hour.

Mrs. Boggs was born in Dodge County, GA, on November 20, 1925, to the late Charlie T. Starley and the late Rushie Dykes Starley. She was retired from B. F. Goodrich Martha Mills. Mrs. Boggs was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include her son, Edward (Janice) Boggs, Sr. of Thomaston; her daughter, Gayla (Rick) Schmidt of Manchester, GA; a brother, Willard (Carol) Starley of Warner Robins, GA; nine grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to Pass the Salt Ministry, c/o First Baptist Church, 208 S. Church St., Thomaston, GA 30286, or to Thomaston Hospice Foundation, 512 S. Center St., Thomaston, GA 30286.
