Mrs. Leslie Stevens

Mrs. Leslie Stevens, 50, of Thomaston, died Thursday, May 6, 2021, at Upson Regional Medical Center. Funeral services for Mrs. Stevens will be held Sunday. May 9, at 4:00 PM, at Northside Baptist Church with Pastor Jereme Chaney officiating. Interment will follow in Upson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church Sunday from 2:30 until the service time. Mrs. Stevens was born in Thomaston on February 26, 1971. She was a 1989 graduate of Upson High School and had been employed by Ace Cleaners, Piggly Wiggly, and Stevens Tire Company. She was active with the Band Boosters and was called "Mama Leslie" by the band students. Mrs. Stevens was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, David Stevens of Thomaston; her children: David Lee Stevens of Griffin; Jason Derrick Stevens of Thomaston; Jorden Noel Thomas of Fairburn, OH; and Jeremy Conner Stevens of Thomaston; her mother: Elaine Scott of Thomaston; two sisters: Andrea (Ron) Kephart of LaVernia, TX, and Robyn "Berta" Watson (Albert Solarino) of Clayton Victoria, Australia; her grandmother, Margaret Tench of Thomaston; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Harold and Marijo Stevens of Thomaston; and a beloved pet, Reesie.
