Mrs. Linda Sue Staggs

Mrs. Linda Sue Staggs, age 73, died Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Harborview Healthcare in Thomaston. 

Services for Mrs. Staggs will be held later at Elmwood Cemetery, 800 Dennison Ave SW Birmingham, AL 35211-3812. 

Mrs. Staggs was born in Birmingham, Alabama, on August 16, 1951, a daughter of the late James H. Corley, Jr. and the late Ruby Hoke Corley. Linda’s most loved hobby was engaging in social activities with friends and family. She never met a stranger.

Mrs. Staggs is survived by her daughter, Angela K. Sturgill, her sons, Mark (Sonya) Sturgill and Justin R. (Kellie) Crumpton, her brothers, Jack (Mary) Corley and James Corley, her grandchildren, Katelyn (Shane) Thomas, Brenna (Lennon) Bonds, Blake (Becky) Williams, Tyffani (Daniel) Moran, Savannah (Drew) Bice, Kyndall Crumpton, and Claire Crumpton, and her great grandchildren, Nova, Ryder, Maddox, Jack, Eli, Opleigh, Kiki, Mila, Mary, and Henry.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Staggs, her twin sister, Laura McCloud, and her brother, Ronald Corley.
