Mrs. Lynn Storey Dent

Mrs. Lynn Storey Dent, 60, of Thomaston, died Monday evening, May 22, 2017, at Upson Regional Medical Center. A memorial service for Mrs. Dent will be held Friday, May 26, at 2:00 PM, at Mountain View Baptist Church with Dr. Rex King officiating. The family will receive friends at Mountain View Baptist Church for one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Dent was born in Thomaston on May 1, 1957. She was a graduate of R. E. Lee Institute, a homemaker, and a member of Mountain View Baptist Church. Mrs. Dent was predeceased by her parents, Joe Storey and Melba Tapley Storey and by her stepfather, William Storey. She is survived by her husband: Eddie Dent of Thomaston; a daughter: Desiree (Dylan) Herring of Thomaston; three stepsons: Keith (Croshay) Dent of Ray City, GA, Corey Dent of Adel, GA, and Jonathan Osborne of Kingsland, GA; a brother: Allen (Iris) Storey of Marietta, GA; a sister: Sandra (Randy) Parrott of Covington, GA; two grandchildren: Aaron and Joel Dent both of Ray City, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
