Mrs. Mamie Iona Mullins Baughcum, age 82, of Ellenwood, died Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at Lake City Nursing Home in Morrow. Funeral services for Mrs. Baughcum will be held Thursday, December 21, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home in Thomaston with Elder Tim Mullins and Elder Eddie Wigby officiating. Burial will follow in the High Shoals Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Barnesville. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 -8:00 PM, at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Mrs. Baughcum, a native of Lamar County, was born January 1, 1935, to the late Emory Taylor Mullins and Pauline Gulledge Mullins. She was retired from the J. C. Penney Company where she worked as a warehouse clerk. Mrs. Baughcum was a member of the High Shoals Primitive Baptist Church in Barnesville. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Baughcum was preceded in death by her husband, William Howard Baughcum, and two brothers, Alton T. Mullins and Bobby Livingston. She is survived her sister, Connie (Johnny) Riggins of Thomaston; by nieces and nephews: Donna Mullins (Kathy Williams) of Ellenwood; Diane Mullins of Stockbridge; Joel Livingston of FL; Glenn Livingston of Stockbridge; Tim (Fay) Mullins of Butler; Kayla Baughcum, Rhonda Baughcum, Robbie (Bill) Harris, and Tony (Tammy) Riggins, all of Woodland; and several other nieces and nephews; and caregiver, Jessie Caldwell.
