Mrs. Margaret Mooney Ellerbee

Annie Margaret Mooney Ellerbee, 85, of Thomaston died on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at her residence. Margaret was born on October 22, 1932 in Pike County to the late Eros Elijah Mooney and the late Annie Mae Hudson Mooney. She graduated from Meriwether High School in 1950. She married the late Robert Lee Ellerbee on June 10, 1950 in Greenville. She was a long-time member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She was a Certified Dietician Manager. Margaret is survived by her four daughters Andrea Moore (Adrian) Travis of Jackson, MS, Brenda (Tommy) Allen, Linda (David) Pasley and Bonnie (Terry) Elliott, all of Thomaston; eight grandchildren, John (Penny) Moore of Madison, MS, Paul Moore of Biloxi, MS, Alicia (Glen) Ross of Watkinsville, Anna (John) Dever of Thomaston, Joel (Becca) Pasley of Thomaston, Katie (Zeke) Terrell of Macon, Tyron (Denae) Elliott of Carrollton and Justin (Lyndi) Allen of Butler; 18 great grandchildren, Julia and Luke Moore, Thomas and Maggie Ross, Colton, Kristen and Matthew Brooks, Trent Knight, Annie Grace and Bo Pasley, Bankston and Davis Terrell, Caden, Landon and Brinley Elliott, Janie Lois and Lane Allen, and Michael Davis; her sister, Frances Mooney Hannah and her sister-in-law, Shirley Mooney. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Ellerbee; her parents, Eros Elijah and Annie Mae Mooney and her brother, Ernest Wilbur Mooney. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 15, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church. Interment will be at Upson Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held before the service from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Fellowship Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions please be made to Fellowship Baptist Church, 3133 Crest Highway, Thomaston, GA 30286 or Thomaston Hospice, 512 S.
