Mrs. Martha Agnes Reeves Turner

Mrs. Martha Agnes Reeves Turner, 92, of Thomaston, died Sunday, August 19, 2018, at Riverside Health and Rehab. Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 21, at 2:00 PM at South View Cemetery with Dr. William Todd officiating. The family of Mrs. Turner will receive friends on Tuesday, August 21, at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM. Mrs. Turner was born in Crawford County on September 5, 1925, to the late Ethan Wayne Reeves and Bessie Louise Johnson Reeves. She was employed as a sales clerk for Maxwell's Dime Store for 40 years. Mrs. Turner was a member of Jeff Davis Baptist Church. Mrs. Turner is survived by her daughters, Janice (Fred) Slieper of Suwanee; and Martha (Leon) Harmon of Thomaston, GA; grandchildren: Debbie (Dexter) Guy and Christi (Mike) Pitts both of Thomaston; Kathy (Johnny) Philips of Eatonton; Chad Slieper of Atlanta; great grandchildren: Robbie Stewart, Nathan (Lauren) Guy, Brandon (Tori) Pitts, Josh Phillips, Emily Phillips, Cody Pitts; and two great great grandchildren: Will Guy, and Brayden Stewart. Mrs. Turner is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her husband, Robert I. Turner.
