Mrs. Mary Alice Guy Gassett Summerall

Mrs. Mary Alice Guy Gassett Summerall, 70, of Sharpsburg, GA, died Monday, December 1st, 2014 at her home. Funeral services for Mrs. Summerall will be held on Saturday, December 6th, 2014 at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of the Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Neal Baptist Church Cemetery in Molena. Mrs. Summerall was a native of Pike County, She was born in Molena on July 16th, 1944 to the late Richard Levy & Bessie Nix Guy. She was preceded in death by her Parents & Siblings Calvin Guy, Eloise Guy, Bernice Guy, Evelyn Guy Smith, Bentley Guy, & John Wayne 'Buddy' Guy. She was retired from the Martha Mills Division of the B. F. Goodrich Company with over 30 years of service. She was of the Baptist faith. Mrs. Summerall is survived by her Husband, Lawrence Summerall; her Daughter, Faye Nixon of Molena; four Step-Daughters, Frances Herring, Carol Perry, Debbie Wilson, & Donna Lynn Rhone. She is also survived by two Sisters, Shirley Nicholson of Thomaston and Glenn (Clarence) Hatchett of Concord; two Brothers, Bobby (Mary Ann) Guy of Concord and Billy (Jean) Guy of Thomaston; four Grandchildren, LaRae Ard and Toni Gaultney, both of Thomaston, Neal Nixon of Fort Wayne, IN, & Colton Nixon of Thomaston as well as Nine Great- Grandchildren. The Family of Mrs. Summerall will receive friends at Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home on Friday, December 5th. from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Pasley- Fletcher Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
