Mrs. Mary Alma Lewis Hudson

Mrs. Mary Alma Lewis Hudson, age 92, of Thomaston, died Monday afternoon, October 17, 2022, at Riverside Health and Rehab.

Funeral services for Mrs. Hudson will be held Thursday, October 20, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Rev. Jason Weeks will officiate, and interment will follow at Upson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home from 1:00 PM until the service hour.

Mrs. Hudson was born in Roberta, Georgia, on February 23, 1930, a daughter of the late Bose Lewis and the late Floreine Bloodsworth Lewis. She was employed as a cashier for Big Star. She served as a “Pink Lady” with the URMC Auxiliary and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

Mrs. Hudson is survived by her sons, Larry Ray Hudson and Steve (Wanda) Hudson, both of Thomaston; sisters, Christine Caison of Centerville; Hazel Meade of Lyons; Sally McRorie of Butler; brother, Clarence Lewis of Roberta; grandchildren, Scott (Trina) Campbell of East Cobb; Eric Daniel (Traci) Hudson of ‘Ewa Beach, Hawaii; Josh (Candy) Hudson of Hayesville, North Carolina; and Jessica Hudson of Thomaston; great grandchildren, Maden Riley Hudson and Avery Hudson, both of ‘Ewa Beach, Hawaii; and Grant Hudson and Jax Hudson, both of Hayesville, North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude B. Hudson.
