Mrs. Mary Ellene Barker Barron age 69, of Barnesville, died Monday, September 29, 2014 at her home. A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 2:00PM in the New Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Yatesville, GA. Elder Chris Hill will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00PM till 8:00PM Wednesday evening. Mrs. Barron was born in Thomaston Ga, but had lived in Barnesville for 49 years. She was Valedictorian at Yatesville High School, and had retired from the Lamar County DFACS as a Supervisory Case Worker with 36 years of service. Mrs. Barron is survived by her Mother, Mary M. Barker of Thomaston, Two Sons, Gary Willis of Barnesville, GA; Dan (Joyce) Willis, Jr. of Jasper, GA; Stepson, Donnie (Melissa) Barron of Thomaston, GA; Brother, Gaylon Barker of Thomaston, GA, 7 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements
