Mrs. Maxine B. Guy

Mrs. Maxine B. Guy, 77, of Thomaston, died Saturday, January 17th, 2015 at Upson Regional Medical Center. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Guy will be held on Wednesday, January 21st, 2015 at 2 pm in the Neal Baptist Church Cemetery in Concord with Dr. Derrick Keeter officiating. Mrs. Guy was a native of Covington but had lived in Thomaston and Upson County for many years. She owned and operated The Alteration Shop in Thomaston. Mrs. Guy is survived by her daughter, Jean (Lenny) Hodapp of New Jersey, and her step-daughter, Diane (Cliff) Grantham of Thomaston; two sons, Jim (Kandice) Merchant of Yatesville and Christopher Guy of Thomaston; a brother, Tony (Linda) Breedlove of Covington; and 16 grandchildren. The family of Mrs. Guy will receive friends at Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12 noon until 1:30 pm.
