Mrs. Myrtis Aurelia Vann

Mrs. Myrtis Aurelia Vann, 101, of Thomaston, died Wednesday, April 8th, 2015 at Providence Health and Rehab. Mrs. Vann was born in Laurens County on April 8th, 1914, a daughter of the late Young Bright Keen and Annie Gay Keen. During her working career she was a seamstress for the William Carter Company. Mrs. Vann is survived by three daughters, Ann Weatherly of Thomaston, Magalyn (Robert) Harden of Cordele, and Glenda Joy (Jim) Yokley of Franklin, KY; a sister, Doris Nunn of Cochran; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Her family will hold a memorial service at the Kingdom Hall of Thomaston, Jehovah Witness on Saturday, April 11th, 2015 at 1 pm. The family can be contacted at 218 Glendale Rd., Thomaston. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Vann may be made to the Kingdom Hall Thomaston Congregation of Jehovah Witness.
