Mrs. Myrtle Bridges Tindell

Mrs. Myrtle B. Tindell, 78, of Thomaston, died Saturday, June 3rd, 2017 at Upson Regional Medical Center. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Tindell will be held on Tuesday, June 6th, 2017 at 2:00 PM in Crystal Hill Cemetery with Rev. Tim Bosworth officiating. The family of Mrs. Tindell will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Monday from 6 until 8 PM. Mrs. Tindell was born in Cordele on December 16, 1938, a daughter of the late Jeff John and Cora Harden Bridges. She was employed by the Martha Mills Division of the B. F. Goodrich Company as a drawing hand, and after her retirement she worked for the Conoco Oil Service Station at Northside. Mrs. Tindell loved gardening and had a 'green thumb'. She was a mom and a grannie mom to many. Mrs. Tindell is survived by three daughters, Gayle T. Whitehead of Thomaston, Tonya Lynne Crockett of Woodbury, and Sharon 'Dina' Tindell of Thomaston; two sons, Rex Allen Tindell of Grantville and John Paul Tindell of Thomaston; two sisters, Jo Ann Hewett of Thomaston and Peggy Holbook of Lawrenceville; a brother, Douglas Bridges of Meansville; 14 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
