Mrs. Nellie Mae Lowry Sanders

Mrs. Nellie Mae Lowry Sanders, 90, of Thomaston, died Wednesday, June 11th, 2014 at Upson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Sanders was born in Taylor County on December 7th, 1923, but had lived in Thomaston for many years. During her working life she was a spinner for Thomaston Mills. She is survived by two sons, Bennie Warren (Joyce) Sanders of Griffin and Freddy Sanders of Thomaston; seven grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Sanders. Memorial services for Mrs. Sanders will be held on Saturday, June 14th, 2014 at 2 pm in the Chapel of the Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim South officiating. The family will receive friends at Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home from 1 pm until the funeral hour.
