Mrs. Nora "Mina" Cochran

Mrs. Nora "Mina" Cochran, 94, of Thomaston, died Saturday, August 31, 2019, at Harborview Health Care. Funeral services for Mrs. Cochran will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Rev. James Wilson, Rev. Howard Porter, and Rev. Reva Porter will officiate, and burial will follow in Upson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Tuesday from 1:00 until the funeral hour. Mrs. Cochran was born in Jeffersonville, GA, on October 1, 1924, to the late Charlie Wheeler and Dallas Kitchens Wheeler. She was a graduate of R. E. Lee Institute and was a homemaker. Mrs. Cochran loved to sing and was a member of Rehoboth Church of the Nazarene where she served faithfully. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cochran was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac William "Dub" Cochran. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.
