Mrs. Patsy Gordy Fortner

Mrs. Patsy Gordy Fortner, 85, of Thomaston, died Sunday, September 28th, 2014 at Providence Health Care. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Fortner will be held Tuesday, September 30th, 2014, at Smyrna Church Cemetery with Rev. Milton Hill officiating. Mrs. Fortner was born on May 31st, 1929 on Acworth, GA., a daughter of the late Homer Gentry and Beulah Tisdale Gentry. Prior to her retirement she was employed by the Yamaha Manufacturing Company and worked on the piano assembly line. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Mrs. Fortner is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Benny and Ann Gordy of Thomaston; and her grandson and his fiance, Josh Mercer and Lindsey York, of Thomaston.
