Mrs. Pauline McSwain DeLoach, 94, of Thomaston, died Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at her residence. Funeral services for Mrs. DeLoach will be held Thursday, February 10, at 11:00 AM, in the chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Rev. Bill Barber will officiate, and interment will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday morning from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Mrs. DeLoach was born in Thomaston on February 26, 1927, to the late Howard Greene McSwain and the late Florence Sanders McSwain. She was a graduate of R. E. Lee Institute. Mrs. DeLoach was retired from the Thomaston City Schools where she served as the secretary for North Thomaston School Second Grade. She was an accomplished musician who served as organist for Fletcher-Day Funeral Home for more than thirty years, and she played at many area churches for church services, weddings, and funerals. Mrs. DeLoach was a member of the First Baptist Church of Thomaston. Mrs. DeLoach is survived by her husband of 75 years, Don DeLoach, and several nieces and nephews.
