Mrs. Peggy Canady

Mrs. Peggy Canady, 57, of Thomaston, died Wednesday, October 1st, 2014 at her home. Funeral services for Mrs. Canady will be held on Saturday, October 4th, 2014 at 2 pm in the Chapel of the Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home with Dr. Rex King officiating. Burial will follow in South View Cemetery. Mrs. Canady was a native and life-long resident of Thomaston. She was formerly an employee of the Martha Mills Division of the B. F. Goodrich Company. She had been the owner/operator of Canady Pools and Signs since 1980. She was a member of the Mountain View Baptist Church. Mrs. Canady is survived by her mother, Kathleen Blackmon of Thomaston; two daughters, Kathy (Walter) Griffin of Thomaston and Kasey (Jason) Casto of Dallas; three sisters, Betty Jo Thomas of Byron, and Connie Blackmon and Debbie Strickland, both of Thomaston; and three granddaughters, Kaylee Griffin, Lauren Casto and Heather Casto. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph 'Buford' Canady. The family of Mrs. Canady will receive friends at Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home on Thursday, October 2nd, 2014 from 6 until 8 pm.
