Mrs. Randy Hewett Hendricks

Mrs. Randy Hewett Hendricks, age 78, of Forsyth, GA, died Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon, GA.

Memorial services for Mrs. Hendricks will be held on Saturday, March 4, at 2:00 PM, at the Yatesville Methodist Church. Rev. Howard Gossett and Rev. Arianna Eberle will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service.

Mrs. Hendricks was born on August 13, 1944, to the late Hilmond Hewett and the late Vivian Harden Hewett. She was Salutatorian of the 1962 graduating class of Yatesville High School, and she earned a BS degree in education from Tift College. She was retired from the Crawford County School System, and she was a real estate agent for more than forty years. She loved her family and friends, dogs, music, and watching sunsets from her home. Mrs. Hendricks had a strong faith in God and was a member of the Yatesville United Methodist Church where she served as the church's pianist for many years.

Mrs. Hendricks is survived by her husband of 34 years, Jim Hendricks of Forsyth; two daughters: Kristie (Jon) Davis of Carrollton, and Lisa (David) Newberry of Byron; three sons: Jeff Hendricks of Forsyth, Bren Hendricks of Port St. Joe, FL, and Lindsey (Gianna) Keene of Musella; a brother, Chris (Susan) Hewett of Forsyth; nine grandchildren: Sean Hendricks, Kaitlyn Devenney (Dom Marotta), Becca Davis (Nate Turner), Ryan Davis, Carson Hendricks, Addison Hendricks, Isabelle Hendricks, Karin (T. J.) Burd, and Marion Roberts; two great grandchildren: Olivia Jane Burd, Jack David Burd and Ellie Keene, and a nephew, Matt (Brandy) Hewett.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
