Mrs. Rebecca (Becky) Akins, 63, of Thomaston, died Thursday, April 2nd, 2015, at her residence. She was born in Newnan, GA, on February 24, 1952. The family of Mrs. Akins will receive friends on Monday morning, April 6th, from 10:00 - 12:00 at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Mrs. Akins was predeceased by her father, Lewis Dover. Survivors include her husband, Ronald Eugene Akins of Thomaston; a daughter, Wendy Perkins of Yatesville, GA; a son, Robert Hamby of The Rock, GA; her mother, Ruth Ledford Bachman of Yatesville, GA; a sister, Pat (Frank) Haas, of Flowery Branch, GA; a grandson, Dylan Perkins of Yatesville, GA, and her mother-in-law, Carolyn Akins of Thomaston.
