Mrs. Retha Slay (Beckham) Greathouse

Mrs. Retha Slay (Beckham) Greathouse, 88, formerly of Thomaston, died Wednesday, October 22nd, 2014 at Carrollton Manor in Carrollton. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 25th, 2014 at 11:00 a. m. in the Chapel of the Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home. Rev. John Baker will officiate and burial will follow in Upson Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Greathouse was a native of Lanett, AL. She was a retired inspector for the William Carter Company. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women and a past president for the Ladies Auxilliary of the VFW. Mrs. Greathouse was a member of the First Baptist Church. She is survived by her children, Paulette Beckham (Jim) Baker of Carrollton, Rickey Beckham of Campeche, Mexico, and Cherry Beckham Ivey of Thomaston; her grandchildren, Scott Baker, Stacy Baker Harris, Chad Rosborough, Kati Ivey, Paul Beckham, Joel Beckham, and Patrick Beckham; and her great grandchildren, Kaelyn, Ethan, Kendall and Dawson Harris, Cody, Slay and Lauren Rosborough, and Macie and Reagan Beckham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil D. Greathouse. Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Greathouse may be made the the Alzheimers Association. The family will receive friends at Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home Friday, October 24th, 2014 from 6 until 8 pm.
