Mrs. Rosa Lee Jones Hinton

Mrs. Rosa Lee Jones Hinton, age 91, of Thomaston, died Wednesday, May 6, 2020. The family will hold a private cryptside service at Upson Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Hinton was born May 9, 1928, in Taylor County to the late Edgar Lee and Viola Mae Waters Jones. She was retired as an Expeditor with 31 years of service from the William Carter Company. Mrs. Hinton is survived by her son, David Hinton of LaGrange, GA; four daughters: Jenny (Cecil) Rogers of Macon, GA; Patsy Dean (Michael Cochran) of Thomaston, GA; Elaine (Render) Nix ofThomaston, GA,; and Amber (Todd) Hardeman of Thomaston, GA; two sisters: Jane Jones ofAugusta, GA, and Elizabeth (Ken) Wertz of Cincinnati, OH; four grandchildren: Pete Dean, Lacy Dean, Tiffany (Ryan) Bray, and Natalie Boswell; seven great grandchildren: Erica VanHouten, Carlyle Dean, Julianne Hardeman, Maribeth Hardeman, Josephine Butler, Sadie Bray, and Jaxon Boswell; and four great-great grandchildren. The family of Mrs. Hinton would like to express their thanks and appreciation to Southern Grace Hospice and Riverside Nursing Home for their love and care of Nannie.
