Mrs. Ruth L. Bachman

Mrs. Ruth L. Bachman, 91, of Yatesville, died Thursday, September 5, 2019, at her home. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Bachman will be held in Commerce, GA on Saturday, September 7, 2019, at 2:00 PM at Jackson Memorial Park, 6825 Jefferson Road, Commerce, GA. The family of Mrs. Bachman will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM. Mrs. Bachman was born in Homer, GA on February 24, 1928, a daughter of the late Dock and India May McElreath Ledford. She had made her home in Yatesville for many years and was a member of the Yatesville Baptist Church. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Bachman is survived by a daughter, Pat Haas of Flowery Branch; a sister, Paulette Delozier of Buford; three brothers, Aubrey Ledford and Frank Ledford, both of Commerce, and David Ledford of Carnesville; two granddaughters, Sadonna (Brian) Woody of Oakwood, and Wendy (Corey) Moncrief of Holly Springs, NC; two grandsons, Jeremy (Jessica) Haas of Flowery Branch and Robert (Christine Smith) Hamby of Yatesville; a great granddaughter, Caylinn Haas, and a great grandson, Dylan Perkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Bachman, Sr., and a daughter, Rebecca Akins. Fletcher-Day Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
