Mrs. Sandra Jane Shock, 84, of Thomaston, died February 3, 2020. Memorial services for Mrs. Shock will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020, at 4:00 PM, at the Silvertown Baptist Church with Rev. Ron Barrow officiating. Mrs. Shock was born in Elkhart, Indiana, on January 9, 1936, to the late Charles Edward Dietrick and Florence Geyer Dietrick. She had been employed as a bookkeeper for Executive Bookeeping and for Steve's Expert Watch. Mrs. Shock was a member of Silvertown Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Jess Shock. Survivors include two sons: Stephen Charles (Tammy) Shock of Thomaston, GA, and Marvin Craig (Dawn) Shock of Loxahatchee, FL; a daughter: Amy Louise (Gary) Ziomek of Waxhaw, NC; four grandchildren: Stephanie Lynn Shock, Kristi Leigh Sova, Steven Craig Shock, and William Jacob Shock; and four great grandchildren: Steven Thomas Marriage, John Adam Marriage, Madisyn Danielle Sova, and Lyle Christopher Sova. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Journey Hospice, 138 Peach Drive, McDonough, GA 30253. Fletcher-Day Funeral Home of Thomaston is in charge of all arrangements.
