Mrs. Vivian Helen Roberson Perkins

Mrs. Vivian Helen Roberson Perkins, age 82, of Thomaston, died Sunday, January 11, 2021, at the residence of her daughter. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 16, at 1:00 PM, at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Milton Hill and Mr. Wade Fuller officiating. Inurnment will follow the service at Upson Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Perkins was born November 17, 1938 in Reynolds, a daughter of the late Grady Roberson and the late Laurine Buckholts Roberson. She was a 1957 graduate of R.E. Lee Institute. She served her country honorably in the U.S. Air Force. Later she worked with the civil service in Warner Robins. She was employed with Big Star, A&P., and Ingles, where she retired as a Front End Manager. She attended Shiloh Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Terrell Perkins; her daughter, Karen (Gary) Salter of Thomaston; her grandchildren, Dallas (Nick) Hemby of Yatesville; Dalton (Devon Millen) Salter of Thomaston; Jeremy Salter of Thomaston; and her great grandchildren, Nash Hemby, Cailyn Salter, Carter Millen, Arrie Salter, and Aylin Salter.
