Mrs. Wanda Carol Self

Mrs. Wanda Carol Self, 56, of Thomaston, went home to be with the Lord on December 1st, 2014 while surrounded by her family. Mrs. Self was born on March 21, 1958, a daughter of the late Kenneth Walter White and Ruby Franklin White. A 1976 graduate of Upson High School, she was also a 2007 graduate of the former Flint River Technical College where she earned a diploma in the area of Business. She was formerly employed by the North Church Street Church of Christ and PSC Scheduling Services, but spent most of her years as a loving homemaker. She was a faithful member of the North Church Street Church of Christ. Mrs. Self is survived by her daughter, Adrian Phillips of Thomaston; son-in-law, Jonathan Phillips of Thomaston; and beloved grandson, Mason Phillips of Thomaston. She is also survived by one sister, Dianne (Tony) Hamlett of Thomaston. Mrs. Self was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Dwight Self. Funeral services for Mrs. Self will be held on Friday, December 5th, 2014 at 2 pm in the Chapel of the Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home. Monty Eason will officiate and burial will follow in Upson Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions in memory of Mrs. Self may be made to the North Church Street Church of Christ, P. O.
