Ms. Alice Faye Barfield

Ms. Alice Faye Barfield, 67, of Thomaston, died Thursday, July 26th, 2018 at Upson Regional Medical Center. Memorial services for Ms. Barfield will be held on Sunday, July 29th, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of the Fletcher-Day Funeral Home with Dr. J. B. Teal officiating. The family of Ms. Barfield will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the service hour. Ms. Barfield was born in Thomaston on April 18th, 1951, a daughter of the late Billie Franklin and Vivian Langley Smith. She lived in Savannah for 30 years before she moved back to Thomaston. She was formerly employed as a truck driver for Clifton Equipment Rental. She was of the Baptist faith. Ms. Barfield is survived by two sons, James 'Jimmy' Watson and his wife, Laura, of Thomaston, and Jerry Neal Crews, Jr., of Ty Ty; a sister, Sandra Smith of Thomaston; and four grandchildren.
