Ms. Mary Ann Ellerbee

Ms. Mary Ann Ellerbee, 75, of Cusseta, died Thursday, October 9th, 2014 at Midtown Medical Center in Columbus. Funeral services for Ms. Ellerbee will be held on Sunday, October 12th, 2014 at 2 pm in Hendricks Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Tim South officiating. Ms. Ellerbee was a native of Thomaston, a daughter of the late William Sherry Ellerbee and Vera Ballard Ellerbee. She was a 1957 graduate of R. E. Lee Institute. Ms. Ellerbee served her country in the U. S. Navy and after her discharge, returned to Thomaston where she was employed by the Peerless Division of Thomaston Mills. She later worked in the Atlanta and Columbus areas as a security guard. Ms. Ellerbee is survived by he sisters, Sylvia (Edward) Tegge of Rogersville, TN, and Trellis Propper of Church Hill, TN; her brother, Albert (Rita) Ellerbee of McDonough; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family of Ms. Ellerbee will receive friends at Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home on Sunday from 12:30 until 1:30 pm.
