Myrtle Vining Lindsy

Mrs. Lindsey was born July 31, 1911, in Thomaston, GA to J. Gordon and Beulah Turner Vining. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1930. She attended the Georgia Teachers College after graduation. Following her marriage to Grady L. Lindsey, she moved to Forest Park, GA in 1942 where she taught school during the war years, and later joined her husband in their Real Estate and Insurance business. She was an active member of the Forest Park First Baptist Church and belonged to the Forest Park Garden Club as well as being active in various civic organizatons. She was also a former member of the Thomaston Garden Club. Memorial Contributions maybe made to the First Baptist Church Televison Ministery. After her husband's death, she returned to Thomaston and became a member of the First Baptist Church.
