Mrs. Nellie Johnson Buchanan 77 of Thomaston, GA, died, Friday, February 22, 2013. in Providence Health and Rehab. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, February 26. 2013, in the Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Upson Memorial Gardens. Rev. John Dahlman will officiate. The family of will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from one O'clock until two O'clock prior to the funeral service. Mrs. Buchanan was born in Washington, Wilkes, County, GA to the late Floyd C. Johnson and the late Eva Mae Lindsey Johnson. Prior to retirement, she was employed in the Administration Office of J. C. Penny, in Jonesboro. She was a member of Silvertown Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy W. Buchanan; two brothers, Thomas L. Johnson and William E.(Gene) Johnson. She is survived by: Sisters-In-Law, Phyllis Johnson, Thomaston GA; Ellen Johnson, Peterstown, WV; niece Tommie Ellen Bradley, Peterstown WV; nephew, Keith (Joy) Johnson, Carrollton, WV. Three great neices, one great nephew and numerous cousins. Memorial donations may be made to Giddeons International, P.O. Box 1034, Thomaston, GA 30286.
