Norton Zilph Tidwell

Mr. Norton Z. Tidwell, age 78, of 997 Delray Road, died Sunday Morning, August 15th, in Providence Health Care. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday Afternoon, August 17th, at 2 o'clock in the Chapel of Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home. Rev. Billy Wayne Waldrop will officiate. Interment will be in the New Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Yatesville. Mr. Tidwell was a native of Bartow County. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, serving from July of 1951 until August of 1971. He served in Korea and Vietnam. Mr. Tidwell retired from the William Cartrer Co. in 1993 as a knitting maching operator. He was a member of the Lighthouse Pentecostal Church. Mr. Tidwell is survived by: 1 Daughter - Mrs. Pamela Ann (Jeff) Bloodworth, of Thomaston; 2 Sons - Mr. James Byron Tidwell, of Memphis, Tennessee; and Mr. Paul Edwin (Kim) Tidwell, of Thomaston; 2 sisters - Mrs. Sara (Jerry) Snow, of Yatesville; and Mrs. Eloise Glass, of Atlanta. 4 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren also survive.
