Po1 Zachary Levi Jones, Usn Ret.

PO1 Zachary Levi Jones, USN Ret., age 51, of Jacksonville, Florida, died Monday, June 10, 2024, at his residence. Graveside funeral services with military honors will be held on Saturday, June 15, at 11:00 AM, in the Molena City Cemetery with Rev. Mark Harris officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, June 14, from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.

Mr. Jones was born in Columbus, OH, on November 13, 1972.  He was a 1991 graduate of Pike County High School and later earned a bachelor's degree. He was a veteran of the US Navy, having retired as a PO1 with twenty plus years of service. He had previously been employed as a deputy with the Pike County and Spalding County Sheriff's Office and with the Thomaston Police Department. Mr. Jones enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a member of the Molena Baptist Church.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by a sister, Angie Jones. He is survived by two sons: William Jones and Ben Jones, both of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; and his parents, Larry and Evelyn Jones of West Point, GA.
