Mrs. Rachel Rollins Brown, age 99, of 1011 South Green Street, Thomaston, died Friday Night, September 10th, in Upson Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held Monday Afternoon , September 13th, at 2 o'clock in the First Baptst Church of Thomaston. Rev. Bill Barber and Dr. Edwin. L. Cliburn will officiate. Interment will be in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery near Manchester, with Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Brown was a native of Manchester. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church. She was a member of the WMU and had been a Sunday School Teacher of children for many years.She was also a member of the Upson Regional Medical Center Auxiliary. Mrs. Brown was predeceased by her husband, Roy Brown; son-in-law, H. G. Rollins; grandchildren, Dr. Lauern Brown and Pam Lambert; grandson-by-marriage, Mike Underwood; sisters, Audrey R. Willingham and Mary Sue R. Barnes; and brothers, Grady, Jack, and Ulysses Rollins. Mrs. Brown is survived by: Son - Mr. Ray R. (Diane) Brown, of Clemmons, North Carolina; Step-Daughter - Mrs. Martha B. Rollins, of Manchester; Step-Sons, Mr. Marvin E. (Sara Jean) Brown, of Manchester; and Mr. Roy C. (Evelyn) Brown,of Jonesboro; Sister - Mrs. Eva Nell McCall, of Shiloh, Georgia ; Grandchildren - Vickie Underwood, Sue (Bill) Parsons , Larry Lambert, Bill (Shelby) Rollins, Norman (Linda) Brown, Richard (Janet) Brown, Cheri (Steve) Thrailkill, Danny Brown, and Jeana (Jimmy) Lackey. 20 Great-Grandchildren, 11 Great-Great Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews whom whe loved also survive.
