Raymond Lee Owen

Mr. Owen was a native of Cullman, AL but had lived in Thomaston for many years. He served his country in the U. S. Army, serving in Korea. Mr. Owen was employed as a fire fighter for the City of Thomaston from 1969 until his retirement in 1991. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Blount Owen. Mr. Owen is survived by his daughter, Pam Owen of Thomaston; two sons, Randy (Sarah) Owen of Winston and Alan (Julie) Owen of Thomaston; a sister, Ruby (Max) Conn of Smyrna; and five grandchildren, Jennifer Owen (Noel) Vaughn of Chesapeake, VA, Anna Lea Owen and Travis Owen, both of Newnan, Katie Owen of Thomaston and Ray Greer of Flowery Branch.
