Rev. Terry Wayne Threadgill, 65, of Thomaston, died Thursday, September 23, at his residence. Memorial services for Rev. Threadgill will be held Sunday, September 26, at 2:00 PM, at the Yatesville Baptist Church with Rev. John Wesley Long and Rev. Bill Barber officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Rev. Threadgill was born in Niagara Falls, New York, on August 22, 1956, to the late Robert Newton and Joy Stewart Threadgill. He was a 1974 graduate of Pell City High School in Pell City, Alabama. Rev. Threadgill was a former pastor of the Yatesville Baptist Church and was currently serving as interim pastor of the Russellville Baptist Church. He was a member of the Upson County Ministerial Association. In addition to his parents, Rev. Threadgill was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Anne Gravette Threadgill. He is survived by his daughter, Amy (Jefffery) Price, II, of Fortson, GA; a brother, Roger Threadgill of Ragland, AL; four grandchildren: Brayden, Annestyn, Alivia, and Jeffery "Tripp" Price, III; a niece, Rachel Threadgill; and a nephew, Joshua (Jessica) Threadgill.
