Robert Cleveland Smith

Mr. Smith was born in Millstead, GA., on May 4, 1926. He was a member of Silvertown Baptist Church where he was an active participant in the Happy Hearts singing group. Mr. Smith was known around town for his piano playing and his singing. He was a member of the Thomaston-Upson Arts Council and the Palette Pals Art Group. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his daughter, Patti Lynn. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Joan Legg Smith; two daughters, Robin (Steve) Raybon and Julie (Don) Greathouse, both of Thomaston; a son, Joey Smith of Thomaston; four grandchildren, Rodney (Martina) Harrison of Carlton, GA, Jennifer Greathouse of Thomaston, Rachel (Jeff) Truitt of Cedartown, and Murphy Greathouse of Thomaston; and one great granddaughter, Marianne Truitt of Cedartown.
