Robert Douglas Hodges

Mr. Robert Douglas Hodges, 53, of Atlanta, died at his home on Friday, January 11th, 2013. Mr. Hodges was the son of Robert P. Hodges and Anne B. Hodges, both of Atlanta, and the grandson of Frances Rutherford Bullard of Culloden. Always interested in science, he attended Georgia Tech for two years as a math major. Mr. Hodges, along with his family, became a born again Christian in 1979 after a trip to Indian Reservations. He possessed a thorough knowledge of biblical scripture and its meanings and enjoyed talking and networking with his Christian friends. Mr. Hodges traveled twice around the world with his uncle, the late Douglass Bullard, Jr. He also enjoyed watching the History Channels and the Military Channel on television. Mr. Hodges is survived by his parents. He was preceded in death by his sister, Susan Hodges. His wish is to be remembered as a man after God’s own heart.
