Ruth Markham

Mrs. Ruth Markham, 85, of Thomaston, died Wednesday, May 29th, 2013 at Riverside Health and Rehab. Mrs. Markham was a native of Ames, IA, and had lived in Thomaston since 1960. She was a retired drug clerk at Upson Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Markham was married for 55 years to Mr. Jim Markham, who preceded her in death in 2004. She was a member of the St. Peter The Rock Catholic Church. Mrs. Markham is survived by a daughter, Mary Jo (Terry) Baxter of Griffin; two sons, Jim (Linda) Markham of Woodstock and John (Barbara) Markham of Davidson, NC; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
