Shirley Ann Key Bragg

December 13, 1943 — December 24, 2011

Mrs. Bragg was a native of Dekalb County but had lived in Thomaston for many years. She was a homemaker, raising 5 children with her husband, the late Ira Bragg. Mrs. Bragg was a devout Christian and was of the Pentecostal faith.. She was a Bible Missionary, passing out Bibles to a great number of people in the community and was well known as 'The Bible Lady.' Mrs. Bragg is survived by her daughter, Lisa Bragg, and three sons, Edward Junior (Cherryl) Bragg, Robert Bragg and James (Cyndi) Bragg, all of Thomaston; a brother, Jerry William Key of Lake Weiss, AL; grandchildren, Tasha Curry, Jessica Bragg, Beth Shepard, and Katie Allen; great grandchildren Leah Curry and Landon Curry; close friends Nelda Smith and Brenda Hammonds; and a special friend, Steve Smith. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Bragg.
