Stanley Thomas Selph

Mr. Stanley Thomas Selph, 82, of Thomaston, died Sunday, March 30th, 2014 at his home. Mr. Selph was born in Laurens County but had lived in Thomaston since he was 11 years old. He was a retired loom fixer for Thomaston Mills and later worked for Upson Regional Medical Center as a security guard. He was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church. Mr. Selph was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. He loved hunting and fishing and above these, loved his family. Mr. Selph is survived by his wife, Marjorie E. Selph; a daughter, Roxie (James) Mauldin of The Rock; two sons, Rev. Spencer (Donna) Selph of Thomaston and David (Dini) Selph of Dayton, TN; a sister, Carlene Hannah of Thomaston; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
