Terry Lee English

Mr. English was a native of Upson County. He was a graduate of Rice University and later earned his Masters Degree at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio, TX. Mr. English taught and coached in the San Antonio, TX area for 34 years. He was a former football player and coach in the Randolph Independent School District in Texas and coached under Bob Mickler. Mr. English attended First Baptist Church in Barnesville. He was preceded in death by his father, James Everette English. Mr. English is survived by his wife, Lucy K. English; his mother, Doris Anne English of Wetumpka, AL; four daughters, Julie (Omar) Hernandez of Arlington, TX, Paige Zaragoza of San Antonio, TX, Sara English of Barnesville and Katie (Nate) Monroe of Asheville, NC; two sons, Michael English and Kerry Kinser, both of San Antonio; two sisters, Judith Lynn (Robert L.) Sutton of Wetumpka, AL and Laura (Charles) Huggins of Barnesville; an uncle-brother, Jessie McKoy of Union City, NJ; and five grandchildren.
