Virginia Huguley Burgess

Mrs. Virginia Huguley Burgess died peacefully on January 6, 2010. Mrs. Burgess was a native and lifelong resident of Thomaston and Upson County Georgia. She was born a daughter to Zack Huguley Sr. and Elva Abercrombie Huguley on August 30, 1939. Mrs. Burgess was a member of the R. E. Lee graduating class of 1957. During her career she worked as a bookkeeper for Suggs Chevrolet, Firestone, City Drug, Eidson and Greene Furniture Company, Barrow Brothers Chevrolet, and Yamaha Music Manufacturing. Mrs. Burgess was a member of the Valley Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Burgess was preceded in death by her husband, Olin E. Burgess of Thomaston, brothers Thomas Richard Huguley, Zack Huguley, Jr., Samuel “Bubba” Huguley all of Thomaston. She is survived one son, John Kenneth Eubanks (Mary) of Leesburg, VA, brothers Edwin Huguley of McDonough, GA, Jason (Jeanne) Huguley of Millegeville, GA, sisters Martha Bea Wheeless of Thomaston, GA, Helen Hancock (Bennett) of Covington, GA, Anne McFarlin (Gene) of McDonough, GA. She is also survived by three grandchildren Kendall Warnock (Francesca), Edmond Mathews Eubanks, and Sara Lawson Eubanks, all of Leesburg, VA.
